The penultimate race of the season is here, at the popular Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Illinois.
This high banked, one point five mile ‘D’ shaped tri oval always makes for some fast, high speed action, and cars here run the low downforce speedway wing package.
The wide groove here at Chicagoland allows plenty of side-by-side racing, with the straightaways favoring a higher position on the track, and the corners favoring a lower one.
Some parts of the track even allow for cars to easily race three wide, but if you get into this situation, make sure you are acutely aware of what the cars around you are doing.
