Race nine of the Indy Racing League season takes place here at Kansas Speedway, Kansas City, which has been host to the IRL since 2001. A long speedway, cars run the small wing, low downforce configuration for this event, but despite its size the fifteen degree banked turns are lower than similar tracks such as Texas. As a result there is only one effective groove through the corners which will restrict your overtaking at these points. As a result it’s the horsepower and turning ability of your car that is going to be the deciding factor in order to get on the podium here, so make sure you set up your car correctly for optimal performance.
